Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival
August 22–23, 2026 | 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
One of Cary’s signature celebrations, Lazy Daze brings hundreds of artists, live entertainment, food vendors, interactive art experiences, and family-friendly activities to the Cary Town Hall Campus.
It’s a great pick for families, art lovers, and anyone who enjoys spending a late-summer weekend strolling through downtown with something cold to drink and plenty to discover.
Raleigh
Hopscotch Music Festival
September 10–12, 2026
Hopscotch fills downtown Raleigh with three days of live music featuring artists across indie, rock, hip-hop, funk, soul, and more. Performances take place across multiple downtown stages and venues, making the city itself part of the festival experience.
Music lovers and downtown explorers will enjoy the energy, variety, and chance to discover both established performers and new favorites.
Durham
CenterFest Arts Festival
September 19–20, 2026
Downtown Durham comes alive during CenterFest, a long-running outdoor juried arts festival featuring visual artists, live performances, local food, entertainment, and educational activities for children.
It’s especially enjoyable for art collectors, families, food lovers, and anyone looking for an excuse to wander through downtown Durham on an early-fall weekend.
Chapel Hill
Festifall Arts Market
November 7, 2026 | 12–5 p.m.
Festifall returns for its 53rd year with a celebration of creativity from across the Triangle. Visitors can meet local artists, enjoy live performances, and shop for paintings, pottery, jewelry, clothing, candles, woodwork, and other handmade goods.
This free downtown event is a lovely choice for holiday shoppers, local-art supporters, and anyone craving a crisp fall afternoon in Chapel Hill.
