WHAT YOU HAVE:
- Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
- Granulated Sugar
- Light Brown Sugar
- Flour
- Baking Soda
- Salt
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 1 and 1⁄2 sticks softened, salted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Lay parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
- Spoon chocolate chips into a small bowl and set aside.
- Spoon granulated sugar and brown sugar into mixing bowl, add butter and mix until smooth.
- Mix in 1 egg and 1 tbsp of vanilla until smooth.
- Place lid on jar; shake to mix flour, baking soda and salt. Add dry mixture into a mixing bowl. Mix until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate cookie dough for 30 minutes (optional).
- Drop 1" dough balls onto the cookie sheet, spacing cookies 2" apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
- Cool cookies on pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
